Basic professional and paraprofessional skills of applied behavior analysis. Topics include: goals and objectives, observational recordings, ethics, selection of procedures; increasing, teaching, and reducing behavior via positive procedures; evaluation. Prerequisites: introductory psychology and consent of instructor.
DDHS (Developmental Disabilities and Human Services) students only. Registration is only open to students in the Specialization in DDHS Program for the first month of registration. Other students may seek permission after that time. Non-DDHS students should visit blogs.umass.edu/ddhs for instructions on joining the waitlist.
