The Digital Art Historian: In a relatively short period of time, the advent of digital technologies has fundamentally transformed how Art History researchers approach their areas of study and communicate their findings. The course will introduce students to some of the technologies that are transforming the discipline and instill a comfort with rapidly evolving technology. Students will gain experiential learning of software that is prevalent in Art History today. The course will also explore how we interact with technology in a more general way with the intent of developing students' abilities to adapt to rapidly changing technology in the art world environment.
