Knowledge of dietary treatment of diseases (Medical Nutrition Therapy) applied in simulated one-on-one counseling settings. Topics include: interviewing/listening skills, assessing readiness, developing care plans, multicultural counseling, computerized diet analysis.
Open to Seniors only. PreReq:NUTR 352 & 480 In spring semester, NUTRITN 585 is open to Dietetics track and Graduate Students only.
Students in all Nutrition major tracks may enroll in NUTRITN 585 in fall semesters
