This course explores the links between technical operations, creative production design, and actual production in a multiple camera HD studio environment. Though loaded with technology, the television studio is, from the first instance through the last, a creative environment with tools aimed at production of meaningful content. Students will learn the ins and outs of the studio environment through various projects throughout the semester, as well as a final interview program conducted by each student.
Journalism Majors and Film Certificate Students by permission of the instructor, djmaxcy@comm.umass.edu.
Please note: depending on the plans to return to campus in the fall, this class might not run as planned. Questions should be emailed to Allison Butler (atbutler@comm.umass.edu). Allison Butler will reach out with more information and updates over the summer.
