UMass Faculty Taught: Race, Communities, and Social Justice in Ecuador. This course will include travel to Quito, Ecuador in January 2022.

This course will include a civic engagement project while abroad and will count for the CESL certificate and an honors colloquium. The Faculty Directors and IPO have applied for an IDEAS Grant to help fund the program and reduce the cost of participation for students. If the grant is awarded to the program, students will pay $1,950 for the program in Quito, Ecuador.
