Open to first-year students in the Engineering RAPs in Dwight, Dickinson, or Leach Hall. Engineering MAJORS RAP in Leach, Dwight, or Dickinson Hall is open to any student who has been admitted to UMass Amherst as an Engineering Major. Students will have the option to join History 111 which full fills the Diversity Gen Ed requirement. This World History class will center largely on the Global South or what used to be referred to as the Third World. It is designed to expand your knowledge base into areas of the world that you have not likely encountered before.
