Have you ever looked at an animal and wondered "what is going on inside their head?" Why would a squirrel rub snake skin on its babies? Is there really a worm-like animal that is basically Spiderman? Why would a lizard take laser vision to a bloody extreme? Together, we will explore bizarre and innovative animal behaviors to figure out how we decide on the function of a behavior. We will focus on the most critical behaviors animals must do to live: find food and not be food. In the wild world of foraging, predation and evasion we will explore the animals YOU want to know about and figure out how you can watch a funny video of a ferret and turn that into a testable hypothesis. Join me to learn how to think like a scientist, while watching animals in action!
