This course satisfies the Junior Year Writing requirement for students in RES-ECON. The emphasis is on developing students' skills in critical thinking, writing, and effective communication.

Open to junior and senior RES-ECON and MGRECON students. Students who are unable to enroll in this course because all sections are full can submit a Dept. of Resource Economics waitlist request. The form can be found here: http://www.umass.edu/resec/academics/undergraduate-program/undergraduat…. Once the semester begins, students must contact the instructor to request permission to enroll.

Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
