SBS in the World is an Internship Practicum designed to support SBS sophomores, juniors, and seniors engaging in virtual or in-person internships. This course will promote students' success in their internship by setting goals, facilitating growth, providing reflection space, and allowing students to think critically about the relationship between their academics and practicum experience. Through scaffolded exercises, reflections, mutual mentoring, and class discussion, students will not only develop the insights and competencies needed to succeed in their internships, but also gain deeper understandings of their own personal and professional values and aspirations and the various pathways they may wish to pursue in the future. This class will fulfill the academic component of completing an internship for credit as well as provide faculty sponsorship.

The number of credits earned is determined by the hours worked per semester.

Varies from 1 to 14 credits

Permission is required for interchange registration during all registration periods.
