This is a potential honors colloquium. In addition to the requirements of the base course, students will need to complete additional work, research, and/or writing as directed by the instructor. Enrollment is only by consent of the instructor and meeting times will be arranged with the instructor. tudents will perform analysis of some type of data related to the course, and will learn how to create an annotated bibliography or literature review. Additionally, students will display their findings in either a paper or a presentation. Students will have the opportunity to explore a small number of topics in depth, by finding, identifying, and reading original sources. Additionally, they will learn how Sociologists do their research and present their findings.
