The purpose of this course is to provide you with an intense, accelerated overview of multi-species digestive and reproductive anatomy and physiology, nutrition, and production so that you will be prepared for enrollment in Animal Science 103 (Introduction to Animal Management). This course will also provide on-going review and support to aid in your success in Animal Science 103. Emphasis will be placed on the best evidence-based practices in regard to the maintenance, health, and welfare of companion, farm, aquatic, exotic, and laboratory animals.
Open to ANIMLSCI majors only.
