Animal Science 297D - ST-Dairy Calf Management

Dairy Calf Management is an experiential learning course that provides students with an introduction to the dairy industry. The course is currently offered remotely, which will limit student - animal interaction. No previous knowledge of the dairy industry is required.

Open to BS-ANIMLSCI, BS-PREVET, and BS-VET-TECH students. Students must have some dairy experience and transportation or access to transportation to participate. Students must go through UMASS EHS Training within two weeks of starting this class. Interested students must be committed to this course and understand the degree of responsibility this enrollment requires.
