Filipino III is the third part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Filipino, the national language of the Philippines, developed from Tagalog and other regional languages. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Filipino develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in the Philippines and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies.
Students must apply to add this course; Contact the Five College Center for World Languages for details: fivecolleges.edu/fclang

Prerequisite: Filipino I - II or equivalent.
Permission is required for interchange registration during all registration periods.
