This course is designed as a collaborative learning environment focusing on objectives of oral and written communication, critical thinking and interdisciplinary perspective-taking at an advanced level both individually and in teams for future foodservice leaders. Additionally, this course focuses on a shared learning experience for applying prior learning to new situations, challenging questions, and real-world problems through visiting and reviewing restaurant experiences, examining innovations in foodservice, analyzing critical foodservice issues, and developing an investor pitch to create a new restaurant.
Open to Senior HTMGT majors only.
