A rigorous introductory course in electricity and magnetism with emphasis on electrostatics, currents, circuits, magnetic fields and magnetic induction, ending with Maxwell's equations. For Physics and Astronomy majors. An optional honors colloquium is available for this course. (Gen. Ed. PS)
Open to ASTRON and PHYSICS freshman majors and minors. PHYSICS 131, 151, or 181 Additional fees are associated with this section.
