This internship experience builds on the work SBS Diversity Fellows did last semester in the Diversity Fellows Internship Seminar. It is open only to students who completed SOCBEHAV 398DF. In this course, you will continue to cultivate career-building, leadership, advocacy, organizational, and professional communicational skills and apply them to your work as a Diversity Fellow. The course will equip you to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across SBS and to foster a sense of community and belonging among first-generation and BIPOC students. Whereas the Fall semester course focused heavily on strengths assessment, skill building, and project planning, this semester we will move more explicitly into implementation of the projects you designed. We will also focus on professional networking for both your Diversity Fellows cohort and the AFP students this group serves.
Permission is required for interchange registration during all registration periods.
