This course is a multidisciplinary course focusing on the application of the principles of geotechnical engineering to marine environments. Course content includes introduction to marine geology, offshore surveying and sampling methods; seabed sediment types, properties, and cyclic soil behavior; design and construction of coastal and offshore foundations; and pipeline and cable geotechnics.
