This course is a study of the origin, diagnosis, and treatment of special needs children with an emphasis on learning, goal planning, and understanding their intellectual, social, physical and sensory needs.

There are 50 seats reserved for incoming EDUC majors. If SPIRE does not allow you to add this class and you are NOT an EDUC major, please check back after summer New Student Orientation advising is completed in mid July. Any remaining open seats will be released at that time. If you are an EDUC major and you are unable to add the class due to NSO enrollment capacity limits, please contact the EDUC advising center an override.
