This add-on Honors colloquium will provide time for students to gain additional experience and become more knowledgeable about the background and scientific rationale for using wearable devices for assessing physical activity, sedentary behavior, and sleep. Additional experience will be gained by having students learn data collection and processing procedures, beyond what is taught in the 297J course. Also, students will have more exposure to other undergraduate and graduate students in the lab and have an increased appreciation for the range of research in the Physical Activity and Health Lab (PAHL).

Must be taken concurrently with KIN 297J.
