Mechanical & Industrial Engrg 398C - P-Competition Team Leadership

The objective of this class is to gain an understanding of leading a competitive team including organizing and motivating team members, managing the design process, planning, financing and fund-raising, logistics, travel, and safety. Students are expected to contribute to their respective team (ASME, FSAE, Rocket, SMV, UAV, etc.) throughout the semester and to meet with the team faculty advisor regularly. This class satisfies the MIE or IE Elective requirement, but not a technical elective.

Open to junior and senior MIE students. Otherwise, team faculty advisor consent required.
