This course is designed for freshmen or sophomores, who are interested in becoming involved with undergraduate research. In this two-credit hour course, students will focus on science communication skills in oral and written formats, discuss the interplay between human biology and social issues by reading a published book, conduct critical analysis of science papers from the primary literature and cover material relevant to being a successful undergraduate science student.
