School of Pub Hlth & Hlth Sci 291D - S- Discover Your Strengths

Discover who you are, how to maximize your strengths and promote your best self with confidence. We all have strengths, but we don't always have the language to articulate what they are; especially in high pressure situations like interviewing. This self-reflective and participatory course utilizes two self-assessments (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the CliftonStrengths) to gain insight into ones' personality, natural talents, values, and skills. Through in-class activities and weekly journal assignments students will curate self-awareness and be able to answer the question- what am I good at, and how do I apply these strengths to my academics, on teams, manage stress/conflict, my job search, and overall career satisfaction.
