Continuation of CHEM 111. States of matter, solutions, thermodynamics, equilibrium, kinetics, oxidation-reduction processes, and electrochemical cells. (Gen.Ed. PS)

CHEM 111 or 121H w/ C- Instructor Note: This course will have in person labs and lectures in the classroom with the instructor lecturing remotely via zoom. The lectures will be organized in such a way that one component of the lecture will be the instructor talking via zoom but about 40-50% of the time the students will be solving problems in the classroom in groups. Student participation will be evaluated by iclicker and by post class quizzes, recording of all lectures will be available to the students via an echo 360 link in Moodle. Students that cannot join in person will be able to join via zoom link.
Office hours will be problem solving hours and groups of students are encouraged to join. Additional office hours will be available by appointment if needed.

Multiple required components--lab and/or discussion section. To register, submit requests for all components simultaneously.
Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
