Management 301 - Principles of Management

Overview of organizational behavior, operations management, and strategy/entrepreneurship. Topics include: Behavioral background of formal organizational life, organizational design, integrating factors in collective behavior, organizational change, systems analysis, techniques of decision making and control, the organization and its environment, and the nature of management theory. Topics grouped in modules of organizational behavior, operations management, and strategy/entrepreneurship. Prerequisite: junior standing.

Open to Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores in the Isenberg School of Management, Business Minor students, Contracting Departments-2, Resource Economics majors, Managerial Economics majors and STOCKSCH students. This course has reserved seating for Isenberg students, Business Minor students, Economics students, Contracting Departments-2 (Building & Construction Technology students, STOCKSCH students, Nutrition students, and Economics students), Resource Economics students, and Managerial Economics students.
