Description:
Ethno-racial hierarchies and racism produce exclusionary citizenship and structural inequality across the Americas. This seminar focuses on the discourses on the nation and revolution, internal colonialism and coloniality, gender in Nation-building, interracial alliances, and the anti-colonial and anti-racist struggles covering events from the late 19th century until the early 21st century.
