Univ Interdepartmental Course 197J - S- Jump In-College Success Sem

This seminar is designed to welcome students into the UMass Amherst community and provide them with the tools, strategies and resources for a successful transition to and experience in college. Students will develop a personal connection to our campus, have a "place" to ask any/all questions, meet other incoming students and be introduced to a wealth of resources and strategies that will lead to personal success. Content will include information specific to students transitioning to college and guided instruction in unique skills required to be successful in remote/ on-line learning courses. It will be taught on-line using a synchronous model.
