This lab is taken concurrently with the lecture course ANIMLSCI 455V Laboratory Animal Medicine & Management. The lab covers learning and demonstrating hands-on the common technical procedures used in rats, mice, rabbits and other lab animals and the daily husbandry and care of the lab animal colony, including husbandry, feeding and health assessments.
Open to BS-VET-TECH students. ANIMLSCI 415 & 415L w/ C Kennel Duty required as part of lab grade.
