In this practicum students learn skills related to literary programming, editing, and publishing. Topics will include strategies for and approaches to running a successful reading series, managing and producing a literary journal, book publishing, and others. Students will have the opportunity to work on the English Dept. journal Jabberwocky and to intern for the MFA's Visiting Writers Series. Students may also take the practicum to support their work on professional literary internships they have secured themselves.
