Five Coll Ctr: World Languages 197GL - ST- Swahili VIII

Swahili VIII is an intermediate-level course in Swahili (Kiswahili) for students who have completed Swahili I-VII or the equivalent. The course is offered through the Five College Mentored Language Program. The course format includes small group conversation sessions and individual tutorials. Students studying Swahili develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in East Africa (especially Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda) and to support course work in African studies.
