Exploration of theoretical foundations for understanding cultural diversity in health and illness beliefs and behaviors, and selected practical implications of this understanding. Emphasizes cultures within the United States. Prerequisite: admission to nursing major or consent of instructor. (Gen.Ed. SI, DU)
Open to School of Nursing majors only. This is a four credit course with three hours of lecture and the Professor will be assigning an additional hour of coursework in addition to homework.
