They say English is easy to learn, but maddening to master. Polish is simply... maddening to learn. But in this class, which serves as a gateway to the Polish language classes, you will be able to acquaint yourself with the beauty (and intricacies!) of Polish, and learn about its rich culture and complex history, without having to master its grammar. All texts -- from Mickiewicz to Tokarczuk -- are in English with fragments of Polish versions studied in class.
Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
