Social & Behavioral Science 190T - SBS Pathways/TransferSuccess

SOCBEHAV 190T is a one-credit, graded seminar for College of Social and Behavioral Science (SBS) transfer students. It will introduce you to your SBS major and the SBS Pathways model of student success while helping you build strong connections with each other and engage in directed reflection and goal-setting. It is designed to welcome transfer students to UMass and to address some needs that are specific to transfer students while also respecting that you come to UMass with college experience and important success skills already in place. This class will help you become more familiar with UMass opportunities and supports so that you can reach your academic, experiential, or career goals in the relatively short amount of time you have to complete your degree.

This class is for transfer students in SBS sophomore and juniors most student will be added to this class via the suggestion of an advisor during Winter NSO. Student can reach out to Adrian Grace if they wish to join the class. amgrace@umass.edu
