This course consists of rotations in the Community Clinic on the Mount Ida Campus of UMass Amherst. The Community Clinic provides basic veterinary care for economically disadvantaged pet-owners and other under-served populations in Massachusetts. This experiential service-learning course provide students who have completed the pertinent preparatory clinical coursework with practical exam room experience prior to the onset of their senior year internship rotations.

Open to BS-VET-TECH students. ANIMLSCI 105 & 105L The class meets for two hours of lab per week, plus additional work in the kennel which will require students to be on campus for four days per week.
