In this hands-on course, students will uncover ways to use generative artificial intelligence (genAI) tools to improve their learning and enhance their college experience. Each week students will use genAI tools to explore common challenges faced in college, including time management, finances, choosing a major, roommate conflicts, supporting mental and physical well-being, making friends, and doing well in college classes. Students will also learn how to critically interrogate ethical issues surrounding the use of AI (e.g., misinformation, biases, academic integrity, copyright and intellectual property, data privacy) in order to make an informed decision about whether and how to use AI in college.
