This seminar will support your transition to college and introduce you to a topic in engineering. The course will be an exploration of an exciting engineering-related topic of societal impact. This seminar will also introduce basic skills and available resources skills for life as a college student.

First-year (R1ST) Topics: Applications of Biomedical Signal Processing in an Aquatic Environment
In this course students will 1) Learn how data collection can be arranged in aquatic environment and challenges to manage the hardware; 2) Garner basic knowledge related to digital signal processing using MATLAB and 3) Develop introductory skills with machine learning.
