This seminar will support your transition to college and introduce you to a topic in engineering. The course will be an exploration of an exciting engineering-related topic of societal impact. This seminar will also introduce basic skills and available resources skills for life as a college student.

First-year (R1ST) Topics: Transportation Innovation and Smart Cities
Transportation is all around us and this course will emphasize the importance of innovative solutions to solve the most crucial transportation problems within Smart Cities, technologically modern urban area. Students will learn to think outside of the box from many different perspectives and gain a broader understanding of technological advancements that make roadways safer, more efficient, economical, and sustainable.
