This seminar will support your transition to college and introduce you to a topic in engineering. The course will be an exploration of an exciting engineering-related topic of societal impact. This seminar will also introduce basic skills and available resources skills for life as a college student.
First-year (R1ST) Topic: Foundations of Secure System Engineering
This course offers a comprehensive exploration into the intersection of computing and cybersecurity through the lenses of logic and inquiry. The course is designed for people with no prior experience of computing and programming. Together, we will explore the logical elements of computer programming and will learn to engineer systems using the basic building blocks.
