This course introduces students to basic research methods including: the scientific method, types of research, steps of research process, validity, reading and critiquing peer reviewed sources, basic statistical analysis and function, communication of research, and the ethics of research. In addition, students will be exposed to a number of current research labs in the Kinesiology Department.

Open to Kinesiology students in Commonwealth Honors College. Recommended for first semester Juniors. Priority enrollment will be given to Kinesiology Departmental Honors students.
Non-honors students wishing to enroll, should request an override with the KIN dept.

Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
