The goal of this seminar is to start on a transformative journey towards mastering academic success! This course is designed to equip students with the essential tools and strategies to understand metacognition, navigate academic systems within UMass, demystify college, and develop academic resilience and wellness. This seminar will be taught through a case model approach, where we will first learn strategies and pro tips, and then allow students to integrate and practice the skills and provide opportunity to debrief and further refine newly found strategies. The goal is to create community, discover practical insights and actionable steps to successfully navigate higher education and master college success.
