Education 692R - S- Intro College Teaching

This course provides an introduction to principles of college teaching through examination of current research and best practices related to teaching and learning in higher education. Our course is designed to acquaint participants with fundamental principles and theories of education and with instructional practices and strategies associated with effective college teaching. These fundamental principles can be applied to in-person or online courses, so participants who currently teach online or plan to someday can apply best practices to the online environment.
