A vector treatment of equilibrium of particles and rigid bodies. Forces, moments, couples, equations of equilibrium, free-body diagrams, machines, trusses, frames, friction and centroids. Shear and bending moment diagrams. Prerequisites: MATH 132 and PHYSICS 151

Open to students in the College of Engineering. MATH 132 and PHYSICS 151 Class meets with CE-ENGIN 240.
