Public Health H475 - Epidemic of Loneliness colloq

This 1-credit colloquium is open to students who have completed or are enrolled in PH 475: The Epidemic of Loneliness: On Social Connection, Belonging and Public Health. Loneliness and social isolation are common experiences for college students. According to the American College Health Association, a survey of 48,000 college students revealed that 64% of respondents felt "very lonely." Students enrolled in this colloquia will discuss strategies to address loneliness in college students and will use the concepts from class and develop a podcast series of topics for college students.

Open to Commonwealth Honors College students only. Students must have completed or be concurrently enrolled in PH 475
