With lab. Time and frequency description of acoustic signals. Physiology of the peripheral and central auditory systems. Topics in psychoacoustics, including methodology, absolute and differential sensitivity, loudness, pitch, frequency and intensity resolution, and binaural hearing. Prerequisites: SL&HS 211, PHYSICS 114.
Multiple required components--lab and/or discussion section. To register, submit requests for all components simultaneously.
