Biochemistry & Molecular Bio. 682 - Biophysics Journal Club

The goal of this journal club is to provide participants with the opportunity to critically analyze recent, peer-reviewed and pre-print research papers from the molecular life sciences, in discussion with their peers. Students will also take turns presenting a summary of relevant background information and leading the discussion of a paper that aligns with their research interests. Discussions will typically focus on one primary research article per week and encompass an in-depth analysis of results, conclusions, techniques, and the quality of the writing, including the effectiveness of figures. This section of the journal club will emphasize the fields of biochemical, biophysical, and systems biology techniques.
