Biochemistry & Molecular Bio. 686 - Structural Bio Journal Club

The goal of this journal club is to provide participants with the opportunity to critically analyze recent, peer-reviewed and pre-print research papers from the rapidly evolving field of structural biology. Students choose papers with an emphasis on structural biology, including X-ray crystallography, NMR, cryo-EM, HDX MS, etc. Students will also take turns presenting a summary of relevant background information and leading the discussion of a paper that aligns with their research interests. Discussions will typically focus on one primary research article per week and encompass an in-depth analysis of results, conclusions, techniques, and the quality of the writing, including the effectiveness of figures.
