Finance 408 - Topics in Financial Technology

In this class, students will learn how digital technology can be used to overcome frictions in the provision and use of financial services. Topics will cover multiple applications of technology in traditional and non-traditional financial services industry. Students will learn about technologies such as the use of blockchain in cryptocurrency and machine learning in quantitative trading. The class will also consider the current landscape in the Fintech industry and the changing regulatory environment.

Open to Finance majors in the Isenberg School of Management. FINANCE 301, 304 & 305 This course can apply to either the Financial Analyst or Corporate Finance Concentration/Track.
