First-year (R1ST) Title: Cultivating Growth: Lessons from Farming
What can farming teach us about perseverance, problem-solving, and personal growth? In this seminar, you'll manage your own fictional farm while facing real-world agricultural challenges-like drought, market shifts, and livestock health. Along the way, we'll connect your farm's success (and struggles) to themes of mindset, resilience, and adapting to change, on the land and in college. You'll practice creative decision-making and systems thinking while reflecting on your own journey.
