First-year (R1ST) Course subtitle: Move More, Feel Better: How Physical Activity Fights Chronic Illness
Course description: This course will examine how staying active helps us live healthier, longer lives. We'll explore how physical activity can prevent or manage common long-term health problems like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and depression. We'll also learn about how different communities have more or less access to safe, fun places to be active and how that can affect health.
