Physics H424 - Quantum Mechanics (colloq)

In addition to meeting all of the class, homework, and exam requirements for Physics 424, students in Physics H424 will have one additional meeting per week and graded assignments associated with this meeting. In this meeting we will be discussing numerical approaches to quantum mechanical problems and for assignments, the students will write their own computer programs to simulate quantum systems. In the meetings we will emphasize a collaborative approach, with students who have more programming experience listening to the problems encountered by less-experienced students and attempting to formulate and explain constructive suggestions to the whole H424 class.
