Detailed study of macro and micro nutrients, their digestion, absorption, and metabolism by various domesticated animal species for maintenance and production. Introduction to feeding programs.
Open to junior and senior Pre-Veterinary Science majors. Pre Req: ANIMLSCI 220 Animal Science seniors who need this class to graduate should email mjschnei@umass.edu with their name, ID and two lab choices that fit their schedule.
Multiple required components--lab and/or discussion section. To register, submit requests for all components simultaneously.
